Lawnscaping Winter Blog Hop

I am so excited to be part of the Winter Blog Hop happening on the Lawnscaping Blog.  I fell in love with Lawn Fawn stamps a few months ago and so when they put out a call to be part of their Winter Blog Hop, I signed right up.  If you have come here from Tamara's blog, you are in the right order, if not please go back to the  Lawnscaping Blog and start at the beginning.

For my Winter project, I used Lawn Fawn's Peace Joy Love stamp set and papers for  tealight gift box cards for a group of friends for Christmas.

This is the card opened with the set of 6 tealights.
Sideview of the card.
These are fun to make and I am hoping my friends love them.
So, now you are headed to Trisha's blog and see her beautiful card.  Thanks for visiting.  Make sure you comment on all the blogs, there will be prizes!

Celebrate the Season

I have been working on the business Christmas cards, 90 of the same, so I haven't been making many other cards lately, but I played with one of my new stamps, Ornamental Seasons from Unity Stamp Co.  I used my copics to color in the ornaments and added some gold pen and some clear glitter gel pen to the image.  I used my spellbinders die to cut it out than layered over the red and ribbon.  The Merry Christmas is using Washi tape, then using the We R Memory Keepers envelope board  to make the edge look like a file folder. You can see the folder edge a little better in the open picture.  I am going to add this to Unity Stamp Co.'s Friends with Flair.

A little polka dot.. . .

For the challenge at Lawnscaping Blog the challenge
was to use Polka Dots.  I used my Peace, Joy, Love
stamp set along with the matching Peace Joy Love papers.  I added some red with white polka dot ribbon and cut out a strip of the paper with the trees on it.

Joy Joy Joy

The other day I was shown how to make a
cascading card.  I really like to make these.  For this
one I use two Unity Stamp's,  SOTW  Holiday Joy Christmas tree and Joy to the World.  I used Peace, Love and Joy papers from Lawn Fawn to make the card, then added the stamped images along with some die cut greens and whirlies and a couple of bling gems.  I love making these cards and am choosing this one as my card for this weeks, Unity's Friends with Flair.  These cards fold flat, so they are easy to mail too.

More from the top.

I am really loving on this stamp from Unity Stamp Co.
SOTW Holiday Joy Christmas Tree.  I added some
copics to the tree to give it a little color, then used
Whimsey Stamps paper called Winter Blues to follow
the sketch.  I added a Petaloo flower.  I used the sketch from the
Deconstructed Sketch  and added to their blog.

A little Christmas Sparkle

I have two awesome ladies that I spend every Wednesday with at our local stamp store, Stampadoodle, for the lunchtime demos.  A while back they had a demo using Lawn Fawn stamps and of course, I fell, hook, line and sinker!!  I am hooked on Lawn Fawn.  I got this set a couple weeks ago, Winter Sparrows along with their die's.  I challenged my two friends to use some shaker card pouches and this is the one I made.  I added some glitter, white flower soft and a few sequins.  The sentiment is also from Lawn Fawn and is from the set, Peace, love, joy.   I gave it a little glitter using a Gelly Roll clear star pen. The designer paper is from Lawn Fawn also.   I am adding this to this weeks, Christmas Sparkle challenge at 2 Sisters Challenge blog.

A little Holiday Joy.

I took a week or so off from blogging to get caught up on paperwork in my free time, but last night I sat down and made a few cards, including this one.

The papers are Home for the Holidays by Doodlebug, the linen string is from SU and the red flower is from Petaloo.  I embossed the stamp, Holiday Joy Christmas tree from Unity Stamp Co. with snow ep. I really love this image as it was last weeks Stamp of the Week.  I have enjoyed getting my SOTW for almost a year now.  If you don't get it, go to  Unity Stamp Co. and click on Stamp of the Week.  I am adding this to Unity's Friends with Flair.

Snow from Heaven

I think snowmen are so sweet and this one is from Unity Stamp Co. and is called Snow Angels Above, Snow Peep Issac.  I used my copics to color him in and used White Flowersoft on the rim and ball of his hat and then for the clouds.  I used a gold pen to go around the image paper edge and added a little on his halo and wings too.  I used the SU cloud follder for the background and used some blue ink to make the clouds pop a little more.  I used white chalk ink for the sentiment.  The snowflakes and ribbon are from my stash.  I am planning on entering this card in  Unity's Friends With Flair.

Deconstructed Sketch #123

I am slowly starting to do challenges again and I really like the sketch at Deconstructed Sketch this last week.  I used Just Skating by Snow Peep Kurt  from Unity Stamp Company and colored him with my copics.  I used paper from Winter Blues by Whimsy Stamps and the flowers are Aqua Wild Mini Blossoms by Petaloo.

Spooky Little Kitty Cat!!

A little spooky black cat.  I think this little black kitty with the Witch's hat is so darn cute.  She is from Lawn Fawn's Critters in Costume.  I colored her in with my Copics, punched some leafs out using Impression Obsession die, the large bread tag is from  Stampin' Up's Chalk Talk dies.  I used some funky spider web and spider paper that I have had in my fall paper stash and some swirly funky ribbon.  I stamped the sentiment, also from Lawn Fawn Critters in Costume set, in white ink.  I am entering this in this weeks Cute Card Thursday Spooktacular challenge.

Cute Card Thursday challenge

I made this Halloween card using Lawn Fawn's Critters in Costumes.  The cat and bear were cut out and then I used glitter on the bears wings and put glossy accents at the top of the bee thingies (hehe)   I stamped the candy and colored them in, then popped the bear and cat up on pop dots.  I am adding this to Cute Card Thursday's Candyman challenge.

Small Stuff Christmas.

I love to use blues and silvers for my Christmas cards.  I don't usually use the traditional red and green and I am not sure why.  When I got this sweet SOTW Small stuff Christmas, I grabbed some blue papers, blue inks and silver spray and off I went. Of course the SOTW is from Unity Stamp Co. and I am entering it in this weeks Unity's Friends with Flair.

You say witch like it's a bad thing.

I love this stamp, You say witch like it's a bad thing, from Unity Stamp Co.  I used my copics to color the hat image and then a SU die to cut the bread tag, I added some fancy fuzzy ribbon around the tag, then pop dotted the hat on top.  I stamped the sentiment with a Kaleidacolor Royal Satin stamp pad.  I am going to enter it in the challenge at Ribbon Carousel that you can find here, Halloween Challenge.

A little Halloween with my new Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

I have been having so much fun making Halloween cards.  I went to a demo using Lawn Fawn stamps and the dies that go with them.  Of course I left my lss with  Critters in Costumes stamp set and the matching dies.  I also got a few of their papers to use.  I made this card last night using the patterned paper from the Into the Wood collection, the bag and puppy are popped up on pop dots. I used my Chalk pen to add the sentiment and lines and dots.

And since I have found Lawn Fawn, I have found a challenge blog using them, Lawnscaping , so I am going to enter their challenge.

Just getting a little older. . . . . . .

I love Unity Stamp Co. in case you haven't noticed!!  I got this set, Gossip, Hot-Flashes & Crazy.  I love the sayings that go with and the images.  I used the background color because I just liked it yesterday.  I didn't have any flowers to add to it, so I took all the pieces to my local stamp store and found this great colored flower.  I used my colored pencils and inks to make it look a little older and some lace from my moms stuff to add to it.

I am also going to link this to Unity's Friends with Flair!

So Thankful for you.

I have to say that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month but every day Cancer affects all of us in one way or another.  Both my parents died from cancer, my bestest friend, Katie Emerson Renz passed away almost two years ago from Gastrointestional cancer, my favorite aunt on my dad's side in January, a life time neighbor just two weeks ago and my favorite aunt on my mom's side is fighting cancer and slowly losing her battle, thankfully she is not in any pain.  I made this card to send to her because I am so thankful for her.

I used the new SU Thinlets Label Card die to make my card base, added some orange dotted paper to the left side of it.  I stamped some pumpkin images in versamark on the green, the pumpkin Blossoms were colored and cut out and the sentiment was cut out using SU Labels Collection dies and stamped and color added around the edge.

Unity Stamp Co. products used:  Pumpkin Blossoms Itty Bitty set,  Acorn Greetings Itty Bitty Set,                pumpkins.

SU products used: Cranberry Ink, Thinlets Label Card Die's, Labels Collection Die

2 Sisters 1-2-3 Challenge

Over at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog, the challenge was 1-2-3.  Use one of something, two of something and 3 of something.  So I stamped Shop, Lunch, Chat, Repeat image twice and cut out just the dress and popped it up on pop dots, so that was my two.  The SU natural hemp twine was my one and the three pearls, well, those were my 3.  The dp is from SU.  I think this card turned out cute and so it went to my niece for her birthday.

( I am also adding this to Unity Stamp Co.'s Friends with Flair

A little Happiness.

I was perusing some challenges and found a challenge at Sister Act Card Challenges that I could use a bunch of stamps on.   I used  Real Shared Happiness from the stamp of the week.  I stamped the butterfly and embossed with white ep on velum.  I then colored on the back and cut it out.  I stamped the sentiment on a nestibility circle and then used some CTMH Lilac Mist Ink to swipe around it.  I used my nestibility teardrop circle to cut out the green paper circle and MFT Fancy Flourish dienamics. The dp is Print Poetry from SU.  I used the small butterfly punch from SU for the green little butterfly.  It doesn't show that well, but I only glued the butterfly on the body and the wings are popped up.
